Alef Trust Alumni Community
Terms & Conditions

The Alef Trust Alumni Community welcomes alumni of Alef Trust’s MSc, PhD, and Certificate programmes who have engaged with the community values during their studies, as outlined in the community guidelines below. This space is designed to support continued connection, learning, and collaboration. By joining the alumni community, you confirm your agreement to the following:

  • Participation is subject to your acceptance of Alef Trust’s terms and conditions as outlined below.
  • Alef Trust reserves the right to remove participants at its sole discretion when terms and conditions are breached.

COMMUNITY ACCESS

  1. All participants will have access to the Alef Trust Alumni Community collaborative community space on the Sutra platform (www.sutra.co).
  2. Participants will be required to set up a free account with Sutra and will be added to the Alef Trust Alumni Community private circle . If any technical difficulties arise with the Sutra platform, Alef Trust will liaise with Sutra support to resolve them. However, ultimate responsibility for technical issues with the platform rests with Sutra.

Community guidelines

  1. The Alef Trust Alumni Community is a closed community. Participants’ usernames and passwords are for personal use only and must not be shared with other parties.
  2. Alef Trust is fully committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive community. Access is conditional upon the participant conducting themselves with integrity, mutual respect, and support for both individuals and group processes.
  3. In cases where a participant’s actions or words create ongoing challenges for the well-being of the community, Alef Trust reserves the right to discontinue their participation.
  4. Participants commit to engaging with the community in ways that support both their own well-being and the collective space.
  5. Participants take full responsibility for their own involvement, well-being, and personal development. If additional personal support is needed beyond what the community can provide, participants are encouraged to seek appropriate professional or peer support.
  6. All alumni session links and recordings shared on our community platform on Sutra are private. Participants agree to not circulate session links or recordings with persons outside of the alumni community or on any other platforms. 
  7. Participants acknowledge that their actions within and outside the community are their sole responsibility. Alef Trust is not responsible for any personal, professional, or legal outcomes resulting from their engagement in the community.
  8. Alef Trust will not be liable for any loss claimed to be suffered by the participant as a member of our community.
